Speaking to the nation

Ron's story has been shared across the country - in schools, board rooms, lunch lines, and conferences.

He captivates his audience in a way that I have never seen anyone do before... amazing.

I haven’t stopped thinking about Ron’s challenge - that I have the power with every choice. Thanks for helping me understand...

I will travel to any part of the United States, Canada and Mexico. I’m available all year round.  My schedule fills in quickly every year so please do not hesitate to contact me.  It is never too early to book me for following school years.

This assembly program does not go into the specifics of all the poor choices that are available to our youth nor does it give them the answers to all of life’s problems.  I give them a snap shot of what my life was about and what not to do by making different choices than I did.

Audience Appropriate

The student presentation is age appropriate for grades K through 12.  The presentation is about forty minutes in length.  I do like to take 20 minutes or so to allow for questions and/or I welcome the opportunity to meet with any of the students afterwards.  This is a very important part of the presentation in which issues may come to the surface that otherwise sometimes remain hidden.

Regarding costs, I can certainly understand why you need that information. Interestingly enough, in the end, that's the easiest part of this process. The most difficult part is making sure you have the right speaker, in the right room, with the right message, for the right audience. Once that happens, if I'm fortunate enough to be that speaker, I'm quite sure we'll find a number that works for you and your budget.

The fee includes all expenses. No deposit is required and I invoice prior to completing the presentations.

I also offer a parent evening presentation called “Choices: All Hands on Deck” in which I step the audience through the lessons learned from choices with Family, Friends and Future. Additionally, Parents will get a very clear message that they need to take responsibility for how their children make choices.  One should not expect the school to solve all of these problems for them.  I also assume 100% of the financial risk due to cancellations for any reason including weather, recent tragic loss of a student or staff member, mandated state testing schedule changes, etc. Although my travel and operating costs continue to rise, I have kept my fees the same over the past 2 years with the consideration that school budgets continue to be tightened year to year.  I’m much more focused on trying to visit as many schools as there are school days on the calendar.
